When we were approaching the bus terminal we were intercepted by a rogue taxi driver offering us a cheaper deal. You don’t really have to be worried about being swindled in Taiwan, so if this sort of situation occurs you can rest assured. Time well spent

I had a humbling experience last night, one that left me a little teary eyed if I were to be honest. I received an email from someone I don’t really know and only met once. We had a small discussion in Chinese and I remembered when I first met her that I couldn’t speak very well (even though I tried) and now here I was writing and reading Chinese messages. It sunk into me actually how far I had come, and there was an over whelming feeling of pride. Read More
